All licenses are valid for five (5) years.
All applicants approved for a medicinal cannabis license can pay in three installments.
All fees are quoted in Barbadian Dollars
All fees are non-refundable.

Cultivator License There are four (4) tiers attached to a Cultivator License regarding area of land:	To be issued to allow for the growing, harvesting, drying, trimming, curing or packaging of medicinal cannabis	Tier 1 – no more than 1 acre	$29,700.00
		Tier 2 – more than 1 acre to 5 acres	$123,750.00
		Tier 3 – more than 5 to 25 acres	$99,000.00
		Tier 4 – more than 25 acres	$79,200.00
Research & Development License	To be issued to allow for the conduct of scientific research for the purpose of improving or further developing cannabis for medical purposes, therapeutic or scientific purposes	Where a person applies for a Research and Development License and the license is issued, that person shall also receive an import and export license which shall only be used for purposes in connection with the Research and Development License.	$74,250.00
Laboratory License	To be issued to allow for the conduct of testing and analytical services for the purpose of improving or further developing medicinal cannabis	Where a person applies for a Laboratory License and the license is issued, that person shall also receive an import and export license which shall only be used for purposes in connection the Laboratory License.	$74,250.00
Processor License There are three (3) tiers attached to a Processor License regarding processing area:	To be issued to allow for activities relating to the processing and manufacturing of cannabis material and medicinal cannabis products, including but not limited to, edibles and other derivatives	Tier 1 – less than 200 square metres	$148,500.00
		Tier 2 – 200 to 500 square metres	$742,500.00
		Tier 3 – more 500 square metres	$990,000.00
Retail Distributor License	To be issued to allow for the operation of a dispensary for the dispensing of medicinal cannabis to patients		$148,500.00
Import License	To be issued to allow for the importation of medicinal cannabis products and planting material from any country where it is legal so to do		$5,940.00
Export License	To be issued to allow for the exportation of medicinal cannabis to any country in keeping with the laws of any such country		$5,940.00
Transport License	To be issued to allow for the transport of medicinal cannabis		$99,000.00
